Exemption for driving into the city centre pedestrian zone - registration plate change
If you have a different car temporarily for example a hire or lease car? Or you have bought a new car? Tell us about the (temporary) registration plate change.
Temporary registration plate change
- You have a different car (temporarily) and want to drive into the city centre pedestrian zone.
- In 2park, enter this car's registration plate and the date you got it.
- When you have your own car back, tell us in 2Park.
- The temporary registration plate change is valid for a maximum of 3 weeks. Afterwards, the parking permit will be linked to the registration plate of your usual car.
- You can change to a temporary registration plate 5 times a year.
- The registered plate is checked.

New car - registration plate change
- If you buy a new car, you must change the registration plate on the exemption.
- Inform us of the change in P-Loket. Under 'Current Products' select the exemption relating to the registration plate change.
- You can then drive into the city centre pedestrian zone in your new car.
- The registered plate is checked.
