Household hazardous waste is harmful to the environment and is therefore collected separately. Take this waste to the waste recycling centre. Batteries and mobile phones can be dropped off in collection bins in shops. Special waste containers are available for fat and oil.

Batteries and mobile phones
Empty batteries and mobile phones can also be dropped off in collection bins in shops and supermarkets. Bicycle batteries can be handed in to a bicycle shop. At legebatterijen.nl you can find collection points (Dutch) in your area.
Empty batteries, mobile phones or bicycle batteries can also be taken to the waste recycling centre.
Fire hazard - dispose of batteries and accumulators separately so they can be recycled safely.
Fat and oil
Frying fat and oil can be recycled and is collected separately. Take this waste to the waste recycling center or take it to the special yellow containers in your neighbourhood (Dutch).
