Do you prefer not to receive unaddressed printed advertising material and/or free newspapers? Without a sticker on your letterbox, you will only receive free newspapers. You can have a sticker on your letterbox to show your preference. You can collect a sticker at a collection point. The sticker will be sent to you by post.
The rules for unaddressed printed advertising material and/or free newspapers will change. Starting from 1 January 2025, if you don't have a sticker on your letterbox, you will no longer receive unaddressed printed advertising material. You can have a sticker to show your preference.
Sticker or no sticker on your letterbox
No/No sticker
You will not receive unaddressed printed advertising material or free newspapers.
No sticker
You will not receive unaddressed printed advertising material, such as leaflets and brochures, but you will still receive free newspapers.
Did you previously have a No-Yes sticker? You can no longer order it, but you may leave it on your letterbox. This sticker is the same as not having a sticker on your letterbox: you will not receive unaddressed advertising, but you will still get free newspapers.
Yes-Yes sticker
Your will receive unaddressed printed advertising material and free newspapers.
The Yes-Yes sticker has been introduced to reduce paper waste and to give you more control over the mail you receive.
Collecting sticker
You can collect a free, a No-No or Yes-Yes sticker from various locations. Check the website of the collection points for opening hours and address.

Yes, letters from the municipality and the national government are sent addressed. You will always receive these, regardless of whether you choose a sticker (or do not choose one).

The sticker remains valid as long as you live at the same address.

Yes, you can easily remove the sticker from your letterbox or replace it with, for example, a No-No sticker.

If you receive unaddressed advertising material and do not have a sticker or a No-No sticker, you can report it. It's best to report this to the company that distributed the printed materials. Starting from 1 January 2025, you can also report this on this page.

Your letterbox takes priority! Please check and update your preferences on websites where you have previously registered.

You can view advertising brochures on various websites, such as aanbiedingenfolders (1folder.nl), allefolders.nl, folderz.nl, reclamefolder.nl, and spotta.nl. This can save paper, especially if you also choose no sticker or the No-No sticker on your letterbox.

For example, you can indicate on websites like folderkiezer.nl or kiesjefolders.nl which brochures you would like to receive addressed. This saves paper, as you will receive fewer brochures.

Addressed advertising is personally addressed to you and is usually delivered by the postal service. Advertising with your address, including mail sent ‘to all residents' is considered addressed advertising.
To unsubscribe from addressed printed advertising, contact the distributor or use Postfilter, a free service. With Postfilter you can also specify which types of companies (e.g. Lotteries or energy providers) you still want to receive advertising from.
Companies you are or have been a customer of are allowed to continue sending you addressed advertising. If you no longer want to receive it, contact the company directly. By exercising your 'right to object' they have to stop sending you mail.
