General

At the waste recycling centre, you can dispose of various types of household waste. As a private individual you can deposit waste free of charge. Companies must pay a fee for waste disposal.

Conditions

As a private individual you can deposit waste free of charge. Companies must pay a fee for waste disposal.

Private individual

  • You are a resident of Breda council.
  • Show your driving licence, identity card or passport.
  • Show a valid rental or purchase contract if you rent a house or have bought a house in Breda but have not yet registered with Breda Council.
  • The waste is carried in a passenger car with a Dutch or foreign number plate.
  • If the waste is carried in a passenger car with a commercial number plate (grijs kenteken) without a company name (B or V on the plate), show your registration certificate and green car insurance certificate.
  • The waste is carried in a trailer without a company name/logo.
  • If the waste is carried in a trailer with a company name/logo, show the rental/lease agreement for the trailer.
  • If the waste is carried in a leased company car from a recognised rental company (driving licence category B), show the lease contract.
  • If the waste is carried in the company car of a sole proprietorship (freelancer), show an identity document and registration certificate part 1B or 2, registered to the name and address of a private individual.

Companies

If you bring waste in a company vehicle or a car registered to a business and cannot prove that it is household waste, you will have to pay for the disposal of commercial waste. Check the commercial waste section for options.
