What happens when you report this?
If you report this online, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. We assess all reports, to see how urgent they are. If a situation is dangerous, this will be dealt with straight away. If a situation isn't thought to be dangerous, most reports will be dealt with within a couple of weeks. This may sometimes take longer, for example if the weather is bad or because work has to be carried out in a certain order (for example planned maintenance).
Hotline for problems with landlords
Discrimination, harassment, unduly high rent: tenants are often mistreated when renting or wanting to rent housing. As a tenant you can report this to the council: hotline for problems wit landlords.
Request for enforcement
A request for enforcement is a formal request to the council to take action against someone who is breaking the rules. If you are directly and personally affected by rules being broken, and you are unable to resolve this problem with the person breaking the rules, you can submit a request for enforcement (Dutch).
