Resident parking permit
General
Residents who live in an area with paid parking can apply for a resident parking permit. You need a parking permit for every car. In P-Loket you can apply for, pay, change and end a permit.
Conditions
You can apply for a Resident Parking Permit if:
- You live in a parking permit zone and you are registered as a resident at the address in the parking permit zone.
- The car's number plate is in your name.
- If you have a lease car, the lease contract is in your name. If you have a company car, you have a declaration from your employer (holder's declaration) that you are the only and everyday driver of the car.
When new buildings are built, or if buildings are renovated, agreements are reached with the project developer about parking. This may mean that you will not get a parking permit.

Private Parking Facilities (POET)
Private Parking Facilities include a garage, carport, a paved area or paved parking space on your own premises, or a driveway. These are considered to be 'Private Parking Facilities' when the following conditions are met:
- A driveway/area which is 2.30 metres wide and 5.00 metres long.
- A garage with a passageway at least 2.30 metres in width, and internally at least 2.65 metres wide and 5.00 metres long.
- The driveway/area or garage can actually be used to park a car on or in. If the parking facility is structurally suitable for parking, the driveway/area or garage is considered to be a 'Private Parking Facility'. This includes if you use this for another purpose (e.g. to store bicycles or other items).
Being able to buy or rent a parking facility that is built or laid during the construction of a house is also considered to be a 'Private Parking Facility'. For example, a parking space in a car park belonging to an apartment complex. In this case, no minimum dimensions apply.
It does not take into account costs for hiring or buying a parking facility.
This does not take into account the absence of a charging facility.
