Sponsor declaration or provision of accommodation
General
A 'sponsor declaration' or 'provision of accommodation' may be needed for a visa request by visitors who visit from abroad. A provision of accommodation confirms that the visitor from abroad will stay with you. A sponsor declaration states that you will act as the financial guarantor for a foreign visitor who cannot pay for the costs of his or her stay. Complete the form and arrange an appointment at the service desk to sign the form and have the signature authenticated.
How it works
- complete the IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service) form (Dutch).
- do not sign the form yet. Sign the form at the service desk
- arrange an appointment. Sign the 'sponsorship declaration' or 'provision of accommodation form' at the desk
- if this is a sponsor declaration and you have a spouse or registered partner, he/she must also sign this form with you at the service desk
- pay for the authentication of the signature(s)
- send the signed form to the visitor who applies for a visa
You will need the following
- completed form (do not sign this!)
- valid proof of ID
- debit or credit card
Costs
The authentication of a signature costs € 14,20 per signature.
